About Dr. Niama Williams, Global Copyeditor
A seasoned professor of literature and composition,
I seek opportunities to proofread, edit, copyedit, and ghostwrite. I have taught for
17+ years at the college level and loved every minute of it.
I possess three degrees in literature and one in
creative writing: a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature with a
specialization in Latin American literature from Occidental College; a master’s
in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, emphasis
fiction; and a master’s and Ph.D. in African American literature from Temple
University.
After 17+ years of grading papers and writing 13 of
my own books, my proofreading and editing skills are of the highest caliber. I
catch any and all errors in grammar, punctuation and spelling; I am also able
to punch up your writing so that it is more engaging, compelling, and able to
